Does the thread keep breaking on your industrial sewing machine? Try this tip
To solve this problem there is an often overlooked solution that involves the feed dog plate.
Remove the feed dog plate from the sewing machine and place it on a flat surface. A good feed dog plate (pictured above) should lay perfectly flat. The surface of the plate should be smooth and free from nicks and rough spots. If you find any rough areas especially in and around the needle hole, sanding the surface with an ultra fine sanding cloth called crocus cloth may fix the problem.
If you would like more answers to other sewing machine or home dec questions be sure to visit our forums at http://forums.chfindustry.com/

NEW! Video lessons from the pros.
CHF launches their new video series. Last Sunday, Mike, Donna and Connie spent the afternoon in my guest room filming the first of many new step by step videos. The series will include basic treatments along with many former CHF conference favorites.
The first video stars Donna Skufis and shows how to construct fast soft cornices. Donna teaches this same method in the Window Treatment 103 class at the Academy.
The video and starter supply kit will be available in the store section of the website soon.
